Eight win first prize at ‘QH Craftsman’ competition

Eight technicians were awarded the first prize at the “Qianhai Craftsma” competition that concluded Dec. 11 in Qianhai.

The final of the “Qianhai Craftsman” competition was attended by Xie Huihui, vice director of the Qianhai authority.

The eight first-prized technicians – a rebar worker, an electric welder, an electrician, a shelf worker, a carpenter, a surveying worker, a crane driver and a signal line worker – stood out among 309 workers from all construction projects in the free trade area who competed in the contest in the eight categories.

Another eight other technicians won the second prize and eight others the third prize of the competition, which was organized to encourage technicians to keep improving their skills and to cultivate the craftsman spirit in the construction for Qianhai’s pursuit of a high-quality development.
