Music lecture on Party history held

A lecture on the history and achievements of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was held at the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation Center Friday morning.

The lecture was delivered by Liu Yang, vice director of the broadcasting center of Shenzhen Media Group.

Through popular folk songs such as “Red Flowers Blooming all over the Mountain,” “Defend the Yellow River” and “Story of Spring,” Liu shared with the audience the stories behind the songs and the achievements made by the CPC in different times.

Tian Fu, director of the Authority of China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qianhai & Shekou Area, said: “The lecture made the Party history live and fresh, and gave us a chance to understand of the mission of the CPC.”

“We should bear in mind the history during our pursuit of the development of a quality economy. We must embrace the challenges and overcome difficulties in the economic development in the new era. We will mark the 40th anniversary of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and the 10th anniversary of the Qianhai Cooperation Zone with new achievements,” said Tian.

Delegates from the Qianhai Cooperation Zone Authority, the Qianhai Cooperation Zone People’s Court, the People’s Procuratorate of Qianhai and the Qianhai Tax Service attended the event.
