A group of officials from Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality and Qianhai Cooperation Zone Authority paid a visit to two enterprises in Mawan area Thursday morning to learn about the COVID-19 prevention and control status and the operational conditions of the enterprises.

They visited to Sinlikon Supply Chain Management Co.Ltd. and Yuehai Global Supply Chain Co. Ltd., and had meetings with the enterprises respectively.

Chen Shaoqing, chairman of Sinlikon Supply Chain Management Co. Ltd., introduced the production and operation status of the company, as well as the difficulties they are facing during the coronavirus outbreak period. He said the company actively responded to the Qianhai Cooperation Zone Authority’s initiative of rent reduction and exemption, and waived a total of 1.76 million yuan for tenants.

Wang Youming, director of Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality spoke highly of the company’s rent reduction action and encouraged them to make the utmost of their own industrial advantages while utilizing supportive policies from the government to overcome difficulties, and resume normal production and operation.

Zhang Feimeng, vire director of Qianhai Cooperation Zone Authority, said that Qianhai will roll out more policies and measures to alleviate burden for companies.

Zhang Quan, chairman of Yuehai Global Supply Chain Co. Ltd., said the company has assisted cities such as Shanghai, Shenzhen and Suzhou and enterprises such as Alibaba and OPPO to purchase medical supplies worldwide.

Currently, the medical supplies Zhang's company purchased are worth of 150 million yuan, including more than 200,000 protective suits, over 10 million masks, and about 500,000 bottles of disinfectant.

In addition, the company also donated masks and disinfection equipment to the Shenzhen Municipal Government and Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital, and assisted supermarket operators to distribute vegetables to guarantee the livelihood of citizens.

Zhang said to the companies that Qianhai will create a better business environment for the supply chain companies in the area with concrete measures.
