Cross-border e-commerce summit for wine industry to be held in July

The first cross-border ecommerce summit for wine industry organized by the Qianhai Authority and Hong Kong Wine Merchants’ Chamber of Commerce plans to kick off in July in Hong Kong.

The summit will invite Hong Kong wine merchants to join in and related polices for wine commerce made by Qianhai will be introduced at the event.

It is said that both the parties will work together to promote the development of Qianhai Wine Exchange Center.

On April 22, sixty boxes of French wine were cleared at the bonded area of Qianhai and sent to customers on that day. They were the first batch of wine mailing to customers after the release of the “positive list” on April 8.

According to an article written the Qianhai Cross-border Business Unit, the wine imported by cross-border merchants will be cheaper than those imported by other merchants.
