On June 14, the Guangdong-Hong Kong Youth New Opportunity Forum was held in Hong Kong.
Themed “mass entrepreneurship and innovation, the new opportunity for Guangdong and Hong Kong youth” the forum aims to build a bridge between Guangdong and Hong Kong young entrepreneurs.
The close business and technology tie between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao has been built a decade ago.
By the end April, over 200 projects have been sponsored and 12 Hong Kong startup teams were invited to set R&D bases in Guangdong. Six Hong Kong universities also established their R&D bases in Nanshan District. Among the Hong Kong entrepreneurs who seek for opportunities in the province, some have formed teams and incubate their projects at Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (E hub). So far there are more than 120 startup teams settling in the hub and 60 of them are formed by Hong Kong entrepreneurs.
