11 teams settle in Qianhai E-hub

A total of 11 teams with either Shenzhen or Hong Kong background were accepted by the Qianhai Shenzhen Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (E-Hub) on August 3 after a road show.

Chau Wing, a founder of a fitness program that was among the 11 projects, said over 80 percent of her clients were from mainland thus moving from Hong Kong to Shenzhen would bring her team more opportunities.

Other Hong Kong team leaders said the preferential policies and market and technology resources offered by Qianhai were attractive to startup entrepreneurs.

The first Shenzhen-Hong Kong youth innovative entrepreneurship competition was also kicked off on that day. Participants from both cities will compete separately and the finals will begin in November.

According to the E-hub, over 60 teams have received investments and one team has got 700 million yuan-financing.
