China Life Insurance Industry October Summit settles in Qianhai

On Oct. 13, the China Life Insurance Industry October Summit was held in Shenzhen. The Insurance Association of China singed a MOU with the Qianhai Authority and renamed the summit as China Life Insurance Industry Qianhai October Summit, officially bringing the summit to Qianhai.

 

 

Huang Hong, vice chairman of China Insurance Regulatory Commission, said Chinese life insurance industry is facing a big challenge but still has a lot of opportunities. “Chinese insurance industry now is and will in a low-interest period, thus we need to plan earlier and be well-prepared,” he said.

 

 

Tian Fu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and director of the Qianhai and Shekou areas of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone in Shenzhen, said the summit will give Qianhai more power and influence in the industry and it prepares to offer supporting polices to the industrial chain of insurance.
