Recently, ten overseas guests visited Shenzhen as evaluators of Qianhai’s international consumer environment. Over a two-day, one-night visit, they followed five routes to test a range of payment methods across Qianhai, documenting strengths and weaknesses and offering practical recommendations to improve international payment services ahead of APEC 2026.
On the afternoon of Jan. 30, more than 30 representatives from international organizations and investment promotion agencies based in Shenzhen — from 14 countries and regions including U.K., Germany, Australia and Singapore — joined senior representatives from major Qianhai firms at a New Year meetup in Qianhai Block V to explore new opportunities for regional openness and cooperation.

On the afternoon of Nov. 17, the 18th “HiQianhai” event took place in Qianhai. A dozen or so foreign guests from countries including France, Spain and Russia gathered at Qianhai’s Shekou area to explore the Minghua, feel the vibrant pulse of cultural and artistic growth across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), and experience Qianhai’s unique appeal as a hub for cultural innovation.
