The Qianhai Authority and the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) signed a strategic cooperation agreement Nov. 12, through which the two parties will jointly introduce investment opportunities and promote international exchange and educational training, as well as cultivate high-end talents.

CEIBS is the only business school in China co-founded by China and a foreign government. Over the past 28 years, the school has cultivated a large number of international high-level management talents, promoted exchanges and cooperation between China and Europe in various fields, and played a positive role in communicating the voice of China and promoting Sino-foreign connections and integration.

Qianhai and CEIBS will integrate their resources to encourage quality resources and outstanding alumni to invest in Qianhai, and provide support for quality projects to settle in Qianhai. They will also jointly carry out events and activities such as academic seminars, talent training, and industry exchanges to provide one-stop services for the high-end talents they introduce to Qianhai.

Taking advantage of CEIBS’resources of international alumni, associations and organizations, the modern service industry of Qianhai is expected to be compliant and integrate with Hong Kong, Macao and international standards in terms of talent professional qualifications, certification and accreditation, and industry management, all of which is conducive to promoting international trade.

In addition, the two parties will also jointly hold one or two sessions of special training courses and invite well-known entrepreneurs, university scholars and industry experts from CEIBS to join the entrepreneurial tutor bank for Hong Kong and Macao youth in Qianhai.
