HK, Macao young youths celebrate Dragon Boat Festival in Qianhai

An event for Hong Kong and Macao young people to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival was held at the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub on June 2.

Among the many activities, organizers invited the young people to make zongzi, a must food for the festival made from sticky rice and different fillings, and to make traditional Chinese sachets. A general knowledge quiz about the Dragon Boat Festival was also held for them.

The activities helped the young people relieve their homesickness and learn more about traditional Chinese customs, thus enhancing their confidence in integrating into the Greater Bay Area’s development.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland, the Qianhai Service Group, organizer of the event, will continue to provide Hong Kong and Macao youth with quality services. Additionally, the group will also hold various activities for them to exchange ideas with each other and with their mainland peers.
