Maritime services available in Qianhai

A total of 24 maritime services such as navigation and dangerous goods leakage prevention are now available at a self-service station in the Electronic One-stop Service Center of Qianhai.

The self-service station provides six major categories of services, namely maritime business processing, business inquiry, list of rights and responsibilities, smart paper material collector, notices and announcements, and inspection services for vessels and ship crew. In addition, the station also provides convenient operation functions such as large print screen and screen page voice-over. Residents can touch the screen to handle or inquire about businesses.

According to an announcement issued by the Maritime Safety Administration on Aug. 27, a total of 27 maritime self-service stations will be set up in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from Sept. 1. The stations will be distributed in key port areas, crew training schools, maritime government service centers and stations, and more, so as to facilitate residents in distant and inconvenient areas.
