Some students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan said they are impressed by the development of Qianhai after attending a group visit to the area organized by the Shenzhen Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League and the Shenzhen Youth Federation on Aug. 13.

Hong Kong student Xiao Junmei, a sophomore at the Guangzhou-based Jinan University, said he has long heard that the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (E-hub) is a place for young people from Hong Kong and Macao to realize their entrepreneurial dreams.

“After visiting the E-hub, I’m impressed by the well-equipped facilities and the future development plan of Qianhai,” she said. “I also learned about the 100-some favorable policies for Hong Kong people, which is a good opportunity for us. I hope I can realize my dream here in the future,” She said.

At the E-hub, a manager of the entrepreneurial park introduced the overall development status and the relevant services, and organized two Hong Kong startups to share their experience with the students.

“Shenzhen is like a fire igniting our passion and hope," some Hong Kong and Macao enterprise representatives said to the students at the exchange event. “The city provides much care for young people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and has rollout out a lot of supportive policies for us, which are of extraordinary significance to us."

Hong Kong student Wu Yinglin, a senior at Shenzhen University, said: “The construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has allowed me to see the infinite possibilities of the city’s future development. I will make Qianhai my first choice for career employment after graduation.”
