Qianhai court opens litigation service hotline

A litigant surnamed Tang said he would have missed the scheduled time for the online trial of his case if not helped by the litigation service hotline recently opened by the Qianhai court.

According to Tang, he still hadn’t received the short message containing login information of the online trial platform of the court a few minutes before the scheduled case trial started. As a result, he dialed the office phone number of the judge’s assistant and the call was transferred to the litigation service special hotline.

Tang spoke highly of the hotline service as the hotline staff notified the judge’s assistant to contact him, and then guided him to log on to the online trial platform and helped him attend the online trial.

According to the court, all the office phone numbers of its judicial officials are equipped with an automatic transfer mechanism. When the phone calls are not answered, litigants can choose to transfer their calls to the litigation service hotline. The hotline staff will register the calls, answer the litigants’ questions, and forward the unsettled questions to the judicial officials. The questions will be answered in three days at most.

The hotline is 0755-86705988. Litigants can also contact the judicial officials of their cases under the help of the staff at the litigation service counter of the court.
