Qianhai Stone listed among city’s cultural heritage

The Qianhai Stone, a huge yellow wax stone which has the word “Qianhai” engraved on it, is recently listed among the 7th batch of heritage conservation units of Shenzhen.

The list includes five sites. It was announced in the latest bulletin of the Shenzhen Municipal Government.

The other four heritage conservation units include the grand ancestral hall of the Mai clan, the placard reading “Time is Money and Efficiency is Life,” the revolutionary site of Rescuing Cultural Celebrities in Baishilong, and the memorial hall of the first Bao’an County CPC Congress.

According to the bulletin, all district governments and departments are required to protect, utilize and manage the cultural heritage units in accordance with relevant municipal, provincial and national rules, regulations and policies.
