Renovated Party and community service center put into service

The renovated Party and Community Service Center of the Qianhai Construction Workers’ Residence was put into service July 2.

The renovated service center serves as a multifunctional venue for Party construction, skill training, cultural and recreational activities and legal aid. The renovation project is an important effort made by the Qianhai authority to implement Party construction and serve the front-line construction workers in Qianhai.

Covering a floor area of more than 50,000 square meters, the Qianhai Construction Workers’ Residence was put into use in 2017. The dormitory compound is the first large-scale prefabricated housing project in Shenzhen that provides temporary accommodation and office space for construction workers.

The dormitory compound is also equipped with some supporting facilities such as canteens and the Party and community service center. The compound accommodated over 6,000 construction workers from more than 70 enterprises.
