Qianhai Party members inspired by Xi’s centennial speech

Party members from the Qianhai authority said they have been inspired by the speech delivered by President Xi Jinping at the grand gathering celebrating the centenary of the Communist Party of China’s (CPC) founding at Tian'anmen Square in Beijing this morning.

Chen Cheng, vice director of the reform and policy innovation department said, he felt extremely excited and proud as Xi announced that China has realized the first centenary goal – building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and is forging towards the second centenary goal – building China into a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced and harmonious.

“Qianhai is a national strategic platform of reform and opening up, planned and promoted by Xi. As a member of Qianhai, I will devote myself to the great undertakings of the Party and the country,” Chen said.

Yuan Yuan, deputy head of the organizational and personnel department, said Xi has given a great lecture on the history and goals of the Party to all of its members.

“Pushing forward the development and opening up of Qianhai is the historical mission and sacred duty of every Party member in Qianhai. I will not fear any difficulties, risks or challenges encountered on the path of realizing Qianhai’s deepening reform and opening up comprehensively,” Yuan said.
