Qianhai works on flood and virus prevention

A delegation of officials led by Liu Guilin, vice director of the Qianhai authority, made an inspection tour on flood and COVID-19 pandemic prevention to several sites in Qianhai on June 1.

The delegation first visited the Guiwan River and was briefed on the prevention of flood, wind and droughtat the site. Liu urged the responsible personnel to constantly improve emergency plans, strengthen drills, pay closer attention to changes in weather, and strengthen information feedback and daily inspections to ensure work safety during the flood season.

At the Harrow International School and the T102-0345 land parcel project, the delegation inspected the pandemic prevention status. Liu said concrete virus prevention and control measures should be planned and implemented to ensure safety in a scientific, standardized and orderlymanner.

The delegation also visited the No. 0 wharf and the Qianhaiwan Garden in Mawan. According to Liu, Qianhai will conduct urban management with high standards, quality and high efficiency, so as to create a beautiful and livable urban environment in Qianhai.
