Qianhai to strengthen credit construction to serve real economy

The Qianhai & Shekou free trade area will pilot a plan that utilizes a credit-based system to boost the real economy. The plan was recently approved by the Guangdong Provincial Government.

According to the plan, the free trade area will take measures in five major aspects to enhance the construction on the credit-based system.

First of all, the legalization and standardization levels of Qianhai’s social credit system will be further improved through enacting the credit-related laws and regulations, optimizing basic social credit systems and improving standards and norms of the credit system.

Secondly, the social credit infrastructure in Qianhai will also be optimized after the free trade area’s smart public credit platform is upgraded, the sharing of credit information is strengthened, and the data security protection system is improved.

Thirdly, Qianhai is committed to further improving the area’s business environment by enhancing the credit system covering governmental affairs, rating all Qianhai-registered enterprises, and carrying out hierarchical and classified applications to the credit data.

In addition, Qianhai will make efforts to promote the agglomeration of credit-related enterprises and talents, and explore the combinations of credit data and public services such as leasing, financing, tax payment and insurance.
