QH air freight center improves cargo efficiency between SZ, GZ

The efficiency of air cargo transportation between Shenzhen and Guangzhou is expected to be significantly improved with the April 8th inauguration of an air freight service center at the Qianhai Comprehensive Bonded Zone.

The air freight service center is operated by Guangzhou Baiyun International Logistics Co. Ltd., a major logistics services provider in warehousing, transfer, processing, packaging, express delivery and distribution of international and domestic flight cargo at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

All air cargo of the Baiyun logistics company can now be processed at the Qianhai air freight service center before they are transported to the company’s international freight depot in Guangzhou for loading onto a plane. It will greatly shorten the processing time for air cargo.

The Qianhai Comprehensive Bonded Zone is an important resource as a collection and distribution hub of international goods. The establishment of the air freight service center in Qianhai aims to make full use of Qianhai’s geographic advantage to further extend the freight service chain of Guangzhou, amid the rapid growth of foreign trade in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
