Guiwan Park offers cozy leisure space for residents

The Guiwan Park has become a popular leisure place since it officially opened to the public recently.

Located between the Guiwan and Qianwan areas, the band-shaped park extends 2.2 kilometers northwest to southeast, with a river flowing across the park.

Two sinuous corridor bridges are built along the river on both sides of the park. The floors of the bridges are hollow, letting visitors see the green plants below through the holes.

The corridor bridges are made from metal materials and the hard-edged design style has formed a contrasting beauty with the surrounding water and plants. There are also many small ponds and lawns on and near the bridges, the clean water and green grass become a playground for children.

With fresh air and cozy spring breeze, the park is a good place for family vacation and picnic. Residents have to walk for only 522 meters to the park from Exit D of Menghai Station of Metro Line 9.
