Macao entrepreneurs woo investors at roadshow

Representatives of three Macao startups demonstrated their projects at a roadshow event that attracted a number of institutional investors at the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (E-hub) on March 19.

A startup project by two subsidiaries of the Macao-headquartered Green Prosperity Group offers an electronic integral solution of high-precision inkjet printing to its clients.

Shenzhen Huizhi Culture Technology Co. Ltd. is another startup at the roadshow that focuses on the applications of virtual reality and augmented reality technologies. The startup has established partnerships with various scientific research institutions.

The third startup project is a polyclinic established by Macao pediatric specialist Fang Wenda. The Mediland polyclinic offers online medical treatment. Fang said he was also looking for like-minded partners for the Mediland.

The Macao entrepreneurs at a free talk section shared their insights and experience with attending investors and audience.

They said they had confidence in entrepreneurial success in Qianhai with the favorable policies that the Qianhai authority has adopted for entrepreneurs like them.

The event was jointly hosted by E-hub and Green Prosperity Group (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd.

The GP Incubator, established by the Green Prosperity Group, has become the largest technology incubator in Qianhai that offers incubation services to young entrepreneurs from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Currently, 22 startups are incubated at its incubation center of 1,500 square meters at the E-hub.
