KPMG opens smart innovation space in Qianhai

A world-known accounting firm opened a smart innovation center in the Qianhai Shimao Tower Tuesday morning, as Qianhai has been pushing forward building a cluster of Shenzhen and Hong Kong-funded modern service industries in the free trade area.

KPMG, one of the Big Four accounting firms, inaugurated its smart innovation space that applies advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, block-chain, could computing and big data to develop industrial solutions and products for its clients in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Huang Wenkai, vice chairman of KPMG’s Chinese market, said at the ceremony that the company plans to introduce 800 professionals in various fields to work at the smart innovation center in the next three years.

Qianhai has been working on a number of physical platforms to attract more enterprises and talents from Hong Kong and the world, and provide more space for the development of Hong Kong’s service industry in Qianhai.
