Key sections of Qianwan underground traffic loop connected

Two key sections of the northern loop of the Qianwan underground traffic project in Qianhai were connected recently, paving the way for the underground project’s opening in 2022.

Invested by the Qianhai Investment Holding Group, the underground traffic project is designed as urban access roads with a speed limit of 20 kilometers per hour.

The project consists of two traffic loops, one in the north and the other in the south, and are both connected to the underground section of Linhai Boulevard.

When the project is put into service, motorists will be able to drive into various underground parking lots in the Qianwan area through the underground section of Linhai Boulevard. The project is an integral part of Qianhai’s underground space development strategy.

The construction of the northern traffic loop has overcome a number of difficulties in order to ensure the safety of the surrounding ground facilities.
