Intl. education incubator inaugurated in Qianhai

A total of 12 sci-tech innovation and education companies moved into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Wisdom Education Incubator, whose inauguration took place at the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub on Jan. 23.

The first of its kind in the Greater Bay Area (GBA), this incubator provides education-related startups with entrepreneurial support, supply-chain resources, investment and financing, and other services.

Zou Tian, head of the incubator, said they hope to further promote the integrated development of education in the GBA through introducing a series of favorable entrepreneurship policies for Hong Kong/Macao-funded and international startups.

The Shenzhen International School Parents Alliance was one of the 12 organizations that moved into the incubator. It has a 180-square-meter office there.

“Qianhai provides an international platform, through which we hope to access more high-quality education resources and international schools,” said Wang Xin, founder of the alliance. “Currently, we are working with three GBA schools to organize several education activities and offer training courses for bilingual schools in Qianhai,” she said.
