The Qianhai Cloud, an integrated digital platform for the industrial development in Qianhai, has provided smart cloud services for more than 100 local enterprises since it went online Dec. 6, 2019.

The Qianhai Cloud was granted a Level-3 certification of the national information security protection, the highest level of certification for a cloud platform of nonbanking institutions, Nov. 9 last year.

Its users have easy access to the cloud service on the platform, which has opened 382 cloud servers and distributed 100 terabytes of storage space for 102 small and medium-sized enterprises in the free trade area last year.

The market-forward Qianhai Cloud contains a multi-cloud management system through which users can access other public and private clouds, such as Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud and Huawei Cloud for management. The platform also provides its customers with cost and performance analysis with the AI algorithm, helping them reduce costs and increase efficiency while saving nearly 30 percent on IT expenditures.

The Qianhai Inno-Tech Investment Holdings Co. Ltd., developer of the Qianhai Cloud, has carried out extensive cooperation with other organizations, professionals and scientific research institutes to build an ecosystem conducive to developing a smart Qianhai.

For example, Qianhai Cloud joined hands with 29 enterprises to offer 62 kinds of free services including IT, communications, enterprise recruitment, corporate marketing, finance and insurance to the Qianhai-based enterprises hit by the COVID-19 pandemic last year.

In addition, the platform has launched other quality services such as Qianhai Cloud Netdisk and Qianhai Cloud Livestreaming, which have been well-received. The platform held 26 livestreaming events on various kinds of issues such as policy publication, corporate marketing, training and promotion, as well as public welfare and poverty alleviation in the seven months after its launch and had more than 1.2 million viewers.

The development of the Qianhai Cloud has been part of the efforts to build a smart Qianhai.
