Foreign diplomats visit QH, Shenzhen

A delegation of ambassadors to China of 23 European, African and Asian countries visited Qianhai on Dec. 19 during a four-day inspection tour to Shenzhen organized by the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Qianhai was the first stop of their Shenzhen tour. They spoke highly of the development the free trade area has achieved over the past decade after visiting Qianhai landmarks.

The Shenzhen tour was organized with an aim to showcase the achievements of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone at its 40th anniversary and share its development experience.

The delegation also visited the Baihua Child-friendly Block, a pilot neighborhood in Futian District featuring children friendliness, participation rights and accompanied growth, and went testing the new-energy vehicles by Shenzhen-based carmaker BYD at its urban exhibition center.

The visiting diplomats said they were impressed by the sci-tech innovation-friendly environment of Shenzhen, and its urban and social development after the tour. They said they looked forward to exchanges and cooperation with Shenzhen in various fields to achieve a win-win development.
