Qianhai to further promote SZ-HK cooperation

A three-day seminar on the speech that President Xi Jinping delivered during the celebration of the 40th anniversary of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone in October started in Qianhai on Nov. 24, with an aim to further push forward Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation in the pursuit of a high-quality development in the free trade area.  

Huang Min, secretary of the Party working committee of the Qianhai authority, spoke on the seminar that the strengthening of Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation remains the core mission of Qianhai in the new era.

“Qianhai will provide more carriers for the cooperation of Shenzhen and Hong Kong, build an innovation and entrepreneurship base for high-end overseas talent and a demonstration zone of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao talent cooperation, as well as pilot the national reform on talent management,” Huang said.

In addition, Qianhai will introduce a series of measures on the mutual recognition of rules and mechanisms between the two cities, improve the service quality and the business environment of Qianhai, and enhance the urban construction of the free trade area.

The seminar is attended by officials with the Qianhai authority and its subsidiary enterprises.
