Delegation of diplomatic envoys visits Qianhai

A 32-member delegation composed of foreign ambassadors to China, charge d’affaires, and representatives from international organizations visited Qianhai on Nov. 18.

The ambassadors come from 28 countries including North Korea, Syria, Algeria, Namibia, Tanzania, among others.

The delegation paid a visit to the Qianhai International Conference Center where they viewed the venue of the grand gathering marking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and an exhibition demonstrating the reform and opening up achievements of the Shenzhen SEZ.

The activity aims to help visitors know better about Shenzhen’s anti-epidemic efforts and overall social development status, demonstrate the achievements the city has made during its 40 years of reform and opening up, and promote cooperation in trade, science and technology, as well as encouraging cultural exchanges between Shenzhen and the countries concerned.
