Qianhai virtual exhibition hall debuts at CIEP

The virtual exhibition hall of Qianhai made its debut at the 18th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (CIEP) that kicked off in Shenzhen on Sept. 7, showcasing the achievements it has made over the past few years.

The conference was held online simultaneously in Beijing, Shenzhen and Moscow, Russia.

Information technologies such as AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality), as well as various multi-media like pictures, texts, audio and video are applied in the virtual exhibition hall, where the audience can learn about Qianhai’s progress in urban construction, opening up and talent management and reform.

The virtual hall is organized over several themes, including “the development and opening up over the past decade,” “global talent strategy,” “Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (E-hub)” and “Qianhai International Talent Service Center.”

The virtual hall is also showcasing the institution innovation-based “Qianhai Model,” the talent-oriented policies, the inclusive working qualification requirements, the livable environment, comprehensive talent service platforms and representative start-up companies at the E-hub.

The CIEP, hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Shenzhen Municipal Government, will continue until November.

Since its inception in 2001, the CIEP has served as a platform for international professionals and world-class talent to exchange ideas and share development opportunities.
