- Entrepreneur market held for QH-developed high-tech products

The 2020 Qianhai Entrepreneur Market was held Aug. 23, attracting 32 startup teams, including 20 from Hong Kong, Macao and overseas countries, to show their high-tech products and share with the audience the ideas behind the creation of the products.
Organized by the Qianhai authority, the event aims to serve as a platform for exchanges and cooperation among young entrepreneurs in Qianhai, letting them display their entrepreneurial achievements and share their experience. It is part of Qianhai’s efforts to become an innovation and entrepreneurship base in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The high-tech products included combat robots, holographic projection equipment, smart skateboards, VR games, smart luggage and smart toys.
Most of the startup teams at the market are based in the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (E-hub); which was jointly initiated by the Qianhai authority, the Hong Kong Federation of Youths and the Shenzhen Youth Federation.
A total of 446 startup teams have been incubated at the E-hub since its official operation began on Dec. 7, 2014. Among them, 227 have been established by entrepreneurs from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas countries. They have received accumulative investments of more than 1.5 billion yuan (US$217 million).
In addition, the E-hub has been listed as one of Shenzhen’s 10 demonstration bases of innovation and entrepreneurship and won accreditation from the Guangdong and Hong Kong governments as one of the innovation and entrepreneurship bases for Guangdong and Hong Kong youth.
