54 social security services available in Qianhai

Qianhai-based enterprises and residents can now have social security-related affairs handled in the free trade area, as some 54 services including social security premium payments are now available at the Electronic One-stop Service Center of Qianhai.

Previously, both enterprises and individuals had to go to the city’s human resources and social security bureau in Futian for processing of paperwork related to company and individual social security premium payments and other affairs related to the social security program.

The move by the city’s social security fund management bureau and the Qianhai authority aims to provide servicing for both enterprises and individuals in the free trade area, which is about a half hour’s drive to the downtown Futian District. It is also part of Qianhai’s efforts to create a world-class business environment.

More than 35,000 enterprises registered in Qianhai are eligible for the services.
