Enterprises returning to the free trade area

An increasing number of Qianhai-registered enterprises that previously had their business operations in other parts of the city have been moving back to Qianhai over the past years as the infrastructure and business environment in the free trade area have been greatly improved.

Ping An Bank Credit Card Center is one of the enterprises that have relocated their offices to Qianhai. The company has had its office in the Sinlikon Building in the Mawan area since July last year.

Yu Ruzhong, president of Ping An Bank Credit Card Center, said that his company has enjoyed a number of favorable policies on office rent reductions, subsidies for headquarters enterprises and financial enterprises, and low-rent talent housing, among others, since moving back to Qianhai.

As of May, Ping An has issued over 60 million credit cards and is one of the top joint-equity banks in terms of the transaction amount of its credit cards.

After relocating to Qianhai on October last year, Shenzhen Dianmao Technology Co. Ltd. has gone through rapid development. The number of its Shenzhen employees has increased from 1,300 to more than 2,000.

Zhang Juan, director of Dianmao’s science and technology division, said the company’s business volume has increased 200 percent compared with the same period of last year and the number of clients has reached 31.47 million.

According to a senior official with the Qianhai authority, Qianhai will continue to adopt more favorable polices and accelerate the construction on other public facilities for enterprises.
