Gala staged to mark CPC’s 99th anniversary

A gala was staged in Qianhai on Tuesday night to celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The gala attracted a large number of audience members.

Songs, dances and poem recitations were performed to show the audience the achievements of the CPC, featuring different historical periods of national independence, people’s liberation, reform and opening up, and the rejuvenation of the nation.

Fu Jianping, the general manager and Party secretary of Qianhai Energy Technology Development Co. Ltd., said that the cultural feast has been inspiring.

“Qianhai Energy has committed itself to continue its efforts to help build Qianhai into a new urban center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,” he said.

Mu Yan performed a poetry recitation at the gala, and said that Qianhai is poised to lead the country’s reform and opening up in the new era.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and the 10th anniversary of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone.
