Tian Fu, director of the Authority of China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qianhai and Shekou Area and chief commander of Qianhai’s epidemic prevention and control headquarters, visited the Qianhai Investment Holding Tower construction site and cold site No. 5 to examine the implementation of COVID-19 prevention measures and the status of work resumption March 3.
The Qianhai Investment Holding Tower project has resumed construction. Workers who returned from outside Guangdong Province are under quarantine and observation in an exclusive area at the construction site.
After inspection, Tian stressed that the epidemic situation is still tough and needs to be taken seriously. Relevant personnel in charge should fulfill their duties and adhere to the requirements made by the Qianhai Cooperation Zone Authority.
At cold site No. 5, Tian was briefed on the virus prevention and control mechanisms, staff registration and health check procedures, facilities and supplies operations, and internal management conditions.
According to the project manager, the cold site resumed production Feb. 22 and has been following closed-off management requirement. People entering and exiting the site must complete registration and undergo body temperature checks. The project has also set up a specific spot for staff to change and dispose of their masks.
Wang Jinxia, vice director of Qianhai Cooperation Zone Authority, delegates of Nanshan Sub-district Office and divisions of Qianhai Cooperation Zone Authority, attended the inspection.
