Part of the first phase of an entrepreneurship accelerator for youths from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will be put into use in the third quarter of this year.

Construction will be completed on the whole Phase I project of the Qianhai Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Entrepreneurship Park by the year end, according to Qianhai Inno-tech Investment, the investor of the accelerator.

Covering an area of about 90,000 square meters in the Guiwan area, the Qianhai Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Entreprenuership Park is to the north of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Fund Town. The accelerator will offer 90,000 square meters of office space in its first phase and add another 53,000 square meters when the second phase of the project is completed in December next year.

Designed by world famed Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners, Hong Kong and Macao elements are integrated with the features of nature, culture and technology in the design of the accelerator.

Services such as high-tech R&D, technology commercialization, consulting, and financing will be offered to young entrepreneurs from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area at the accelerator, which will focus on emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), big data, life sciences, Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain and cloud computing.

Ideally located, it will take only 25 minutes to the Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint and Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport from the accelerator. Shuttle bus services are available to 29 destinations across Hong Kong and Macao.
