Enterprises with good credit records are exempted from submitting some materials when applying for the business address custody service, according to a new measure launched by the Qianhai Cooperation Zone Authority on Jan. 8, 2020.

The business address custody has been aimed to serve those Qianhai-registered enterprises, which do not have a permanent business address in the free trade area, during Qianhai’s initial stage of the infrastructure construction.

A-rated enterprises are eligible for not submitting corporate address proof materials, according to Qianhai Commerce Secretariat Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Qianhai Inno-Tech Investment under the Qianhai authority. The commerce secretariat company will share credit information of related enterprises conducted by the Qianhai Social Credit Service Center in real time.

Enterprises can also check their own credit ratings through the WeChat public account of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone of Shenzhen.

An enterprise is required to submit an online application with the commerce secretariat company when applying for the business address custody before it will be informed of the application result. The enterprise will have to go to the service center to sign a business address custody contract after its online application has been approved. An A-rated enterprise will be granted the service even if it cannot provide some of the required materials temporarily.

Enterprises that apply for such business for the first time should provide a hard copy of the corporate legal person business license with the company seal on it or the original copy of the license without the company seal on it.

To renew or modify such business, enterprises are required to submit a hard copy of the business license with the company seal on it or the original copy of the license without the company seal on it, and a confirmation letter of legal document delivery address with the company seal on it, but without a signature.
