　　Savills announced the establishment of Shenzhen Qianhai Savills Property Services Co., Ltd, a joint venture formed with Shenzhen Qianhai Development Holdings Limited fully owned by Qianhai Administration Bureau. The new company will seek to develop Qianhai into an internationalised community by providing professional high-quality property management services for high-end properties within the surrounding area.

　　At the opening and signing ceremony held on April 29, Mr Robert McKellar, Savills CEO, Asia Pacific, Mr Albert Lau, Head and Managing Director of Savills China, Mr Woody Lam, Managing Director of Savills southern China, and Mr Paul Cheung, Deputy Managing Director, Savills southern China were joined by Mr Peng Shuping, Deputy Chief Director of Qianhai Administration Bureau, Mr Zhang Shaohui, Assistant to Chief Director of Qianhai Administration Bureau, Managing Director of Shenzhen Qianhai Development Holdings Limited and Shenzhen Qianhai Savills Property Services Co., Ltd., and Mr Xiong Jingbo, Deputy Managing Director of Shenzhen Qianhai Development Holdings Limited and Director of Shenzhen Qianhai Savills Property Services Co., Ltd.

　　The establishment of the joint venture reflects the shared interest of Savills, the UK-based international real estate adviser, and the Qianhai government in developing Qianhai into a world-class cooperation zone of the modern service industry.

　　Joint forces to boost cooperation zone

　　Qianhai enjoys a prime location and privileged policies that have attracted an increasing number of companies, mainly from financial, technological and other service industries. By the end of March 2015, over 25,000 companies had registered in Qianhai, including 1,235 HK-funded companies, with the total registered capital exceeding RMB1.4 trillion. This will undoubtedly drive the development of commercial properties within the area, leading to greater demand for integrated property management.

Excellence Qianhai Ph I, the first mixed-use development in Qianhai, is currently undergoing fit out, with handover expected at the end of this year. With many more new projects breaking ground and continued infrastructure development, Qianhai is poised to become an emerging business area of Shenzhen.
