Qianhai E hub to recruit startup teams

The Qianhai Shenzhen Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (E Hub) now is recruiting startup teams with internet, hardware or creative culture related projects.

Aiming at facilitating early startups, the hub will only accept companies that has established for less than five years and with legal representatives on staff. Entrepreneurs must explain their intellectual property right and equity structure, and have stakes in the company. Besides, the companies are working on developing big data, intelligent hardware, “Internet +”and cultural creative products. It is said that the recruiters prefer those innovative, high-tech and easy-to-industrialize ideas.

“The teams can be those who have already registered in Qianhai or agreed to move to Qianhai after being accepted by us,” added Zeng Yixuan, staff member of the E Hub.

“For submitting their applications, the teams can either submit directly to the business unit of the E Hub or with the incubators we are cooperating with,” Zeng said.

Initiated by the Qianhai Authority, the Shenzhen Youth Federation and the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, the E Hub started public recruiting in November 2014. It has recruited 129 teams and 59 teams are from Hong Kong.

The hub offer six-month free working places and tutorship for new comers.

Currently the hub’s cooperative incubators include SIAT, IDH, China Renaissance K2 Ventures, HOUDE, Youth Business Hong Kong and SVIIAP.

According to Zeng, a total of 25 teams graduated from the hub last year and some were recommended to the next-stage incubators.
