According to the data released by the authority of Qianhai Shekou Pilot Free Trade Zone recently, a total of 34,187 companies start to conduct business in the zone by the end of June. The ratio of the companies that start to do business in the free trade zone reached 52.02 percent and the number of registered companies continues to increase.
In comparison with the figures of May, an increase of 2,169 companies start operating in the zone, up 0.93 percent from May and 42.43 percent from last year.
Among the newly opened companies, the highest ratio of opening goes to information service industry, which reaches to 57.18 percent, the ratios of technology and other services industries are the same, accounting to 53.75 percent and the ratio of logistics is 53.17 percent.
The number of opened logistics companies continues to increase, up 2.14 percent from May, and the ratio of finance sector increased by 4.74 percent from April.
To offer better services to the companies, the Qianhai Authority has sped up the infrastructure construction. So far, seven construction projects are finished and 89 buildings of 1.11 million square meters floorage will be built by the end of this year, offering 321,000 square meters working space.
