Some attendees said both the cities can firstly start the exchange with foodstuffs and perfecting transportation. They said both the cities can set up a unified data standard and share the transportation data on an official platform.

Hu Xiaoming, vice president of China Information Industry Association, said big data, cloud computing and Internet were effective tools that have being used in daily life but were not the only tools for making important decisions.

“In the future, big data will be the basic element in our everyday life. It equals to infrastructure,” said Jiang Jie, general manager of Tencent big data platform. He showcased how an enterprise builds a new business mode with the help of data.
