Shenzhen Huaqiang Holdings and Indonesian Bakrie Group to invest in Qianhai

Shenzhen Huaqiang Holdings Limited and Bakrie Group, an Indonesian company that was founded in 1942, singed a contract Aug. 26 to co-invest in Qianhai and co-develop a theme park in Jakarta, Indonesia. Both the parties also discussed the cooperative intensions on clear energy, digital animation products and more.

In December last year, Qianhai Authority inked a cross-border settlement contract with Huaqiang Holdings. According to a latest report made by TEA, Huangqiang Fatawild received over 23 million visitors in 2015. The animation empire plans to build around 40 theme parks within a decade.
