Contractural foreign investment in Qianhai-Shekou FTA reached US$28.4 billion

According to the data released recently, by the end of June the contractural foreign investment in Qianhai-Shekou Free Trade Area was US$28.4 billion, accounting for 85.84% of the city’s total.

A total of 3,7000 registered enterprises have started to operate in and 169 companies that settled in the area are among the Fortune Global 500 enterprises.

By the end of July, the contractural invest made by Qianhai’s enterprises among the Belt and Road countries was US$6.47 billion, up 286.65% from last July.

The FTA plans to make 3.6-billion-yuan fixed investment and have nine roads and 30 buildings finished construction this year.
