Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone People’s Court will deal with more financial cases that have been submitted to other courts in the city, according to Shenzhen Special Zone Daily.
According to a response to municipal people’s representatives from Shenzhen Municipal Intermediate People’s Court, the first instance financial loan contract case that belongs to the jurisdiction right of the local court will be transferred to the Qianhai Court.
As more local financial industries have started to conduct cross-border business, related cased have been piled up at local courts. Last year, over 3,000 cases were settled by local courts.
By the end of June 2015, the total asset of city’s financial industry amounted to 9.09 trillion yuan and the total amount of cross-border RMB transaction dealt by 57 local banks reached 3.58 trillion yuan.
