Harrow International School to be settled down in Qianhai

On Sept. 24 Qianhai Authority signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with Harrow International Management Services Ltd., Asia International School Ltd. and Asia International Education Development Ltd. According to the agreements, two international schools, Harrow International School Qianhai campus and International Leadership Academy Qianhai campus are scheduled to open in September 2019.

 

 

The two schools will be set up next to each other and share education facilities and resources.

The Harrow school Qianhai campus will recruit foreign nationals and Hong Kong and Macao students, offering around 1,000 seats to them. The other school will accept both Chinese and foreign students. It will offer 1,500 seats.

 

 

Shenzhen’s Party Chief Ma Xingrui said at the signing ceremony that the city is craving to work with overseas quality educational institutions as it is populous but is lack of educational resources. He encourages the two schools to develop at a high standard and provide quality educational service to citizens so as to better improve the city’s competitiveness.

Harrow School was established in London in 1572. Currently it has opened four international schools in Asia, including Bangkok, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.
