On January 7, six key projects that worth 15.4 billion yuan were start to be built. Among them, a 200-meter tall building, which will be the headquarter of COFCO Asia, will be finished within two years.
According to Tian Fu, director of Qianhai-Shekou Pilot Free Trade Zone Authority, in 2016 the investment of fixed assets in the zone reached to 37 billion yuan. A total of 149 buildings finished capping and about 1,140,000 square meters’ spaces have been put into use.
Tian added that the zone aims to finish 40 billion yuan of fixed assets investment this year.
