The first shipping line for cargo transport between Qianhai and Hong Kong opened recently. Officers from Marine Affairs Bureau of Guangdong Province and Shenzhen Port & Channel and Cargo Transportation Bureau attended the open ceremony.
This shipping line is built by Shenzhen Zhongyuan Logistics Co., Ltd., together with China Shipbuilding (Shenzhen) Marin CO., Ltd. A total of 11 ships will in charge of the transportation of the concrete material for the construction of the third runway of Hong Kong Airport, once a day. By May, 50 ships are estimated to transport goods on the shipping line.
