Shenzhen chief: Qianhai-Shekou FTA a key platform for GD, HK and SZ cooperation

Shenzhen chief Xu Qin said recently said that Qianhai has become an important platform for Guangdong, Hong Kong and Shenzhen cooperation, as now the area has attracted over 4,000 Hong Kong enterprises to move in.

“Qianhai-Shekou Pilot Free Trade Zone has offers conveniences to Hong Kong companies because it has both physical and political advantages,” Xu said.

“Shenzhen will explore more new institutional deign in Qianhai and allow them to be accepted by international investment rules. Shenzhen will also enhance its cooperation with Hong Kong through Qianhai and will search for more bilateral cooperation on modern service industry.”

Xu also mentioned that Shenzhen will initiate cross-border finance innovation with Hong Kong soon this year.
