Qianhai Academy of Public Security Research unveiled its nameplate May 6.
Tian Fu, director of Qianhai and Shekou area of Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone Authority, said that by end of 2016, 89 buildings with the floor space of 1,220,000 square meters were put into use. Newly built buildings such as Qianhai International Town, Qianhai Free Trade Town, Hong Kong Modern Industries Town and Qianhai International Pivotal Port have shaped the landscape of Qianhao.
The Southern Research Center of Central Research Institute of Building and Construction Co. (CRIBCC) and the Qianhai Academy of Public Security Research, which is co-established and co-invested by CRIBCC, Qianhai Development and Investment Holding Co., Shenzhen Urban Public Security Technology Institution, Shenzhen Qianhai Lianyu Financial Services Co., and Shenzhen Mintai’an Risk Management Institute.
The Qianhai academy is the first academy of public security and government think tank that adopts the PPP mode (Public-Private- Partnership). Its business also covers public service and market.
At the ceremony, five academicians and the representatives from the Ministry of Science and Technology, State-owned Assets Supervision and Adminstration Commission of the State Council and Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd..attend the ceremony. Three academicians made keynote speeches on the security of the city and its infrastructure.
