Ready to hunt for dramatic lighting in the city? If so, join the Shekou Management and Service Center for Expats' Light & Shadow Photography session and learn how to find and capture the striking contrasts that make night scenes come alive. Instructor Frantisek (Frankie) Bina will teach professional techniques and guide hands-on practice on the streets, empowering you to turn ordinary cityscapes into powerful images.
During this hands-on session, you'll learn how to use available light and shadows to create mood and drama. You'll also get composition tips to make nighttime shots stronger and more compelling.
Frankie, a photography enthusiast from the Czech Republic, will cover practical camera settings for low-light conditions on both smartphones and digital cameras and share quick editing techniques to enhance contrast and color after shooting.
The workshop is ideal for beginners and hobbyists who want to improve their night photography and smartphone photographers seeking to learn professional techniques. Anyone who enjoys street photography and would like guided, on-the-street practice is welcome to join.
Please bring a smartphone or a digital camera, a charged battery or a power bank, and spare memory. Wear comfortable shoes suitable for a short street walk so you can move around easily during the session.
