The Qianhai Authority kicked off a series of events Friday at the Qianhai Stone Park to celebrate Spring Festival, unveiling eight exciting cultural and tourism initiatives. The festivities invite residents and tourists to explore Qianhai and experience its ongoing development.
“This year, Qianhai will continue to thrive with cultural and tourism projects, including world-class landmarks like Huafa Ice and Snow World, K11 ECOAST, and the Shenzhen Book City Bay Area Store, all opening soon,” said Liang Ke, deputy secretary of the Qianhai CPC Working Committee.
Liang emphasized that Qianhai has long prioritized cultural and tourism growth, working with Nanshan and Bao’an districts to build new cultural landmarks and host events that have been well received by both locals and visitors. She warmly welcomed everyone to visit Qianhai for shopping, sightseeing, and leisure.
In support of the “Ring in Spring Festival in Guangdong” campaign and to help Shenzhen become a world-class tourism and leisure destination, Qianhai has teamed up with Nanshan and Bao’an to roll out eight key initiatives aimed at welcoming visitors.
These initiatives include the opening of the Xinzhen River Pedestrian Bridge, which makes the Qianhai Bay pedestrian system more accessible.
An upgraded version of the Qianhai hand-drawn map and cultural tourism calendar has been released, featuring the latest landmarks to help visitors plan their trips.
The super-popular B.Duck character made its debut at the Qianhai Stone Park. Qianhai NeeDo music concerts will add to the festive atmosphere. Stunning photo spots have been created throughout Qianhai, perfect for capturing memorable moments. AI-powered translation devices will be distributed at the Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport and the Shekou Cruise Home Port to assist international visitors. A new shuttle bus route will link the cruise port and Qianhai’s shopping and sightseeing destinations.
In addition, to strengthen cultural and tourism ties with Hong Kong and Macao, Qianhai is facilitating cross-border certification for tour guides from the two cities. Several groups of guides have already been certified to lead tours in Qianhai.
